THE POWER OF INTERMITTENT FASTING FOR BUSINESS ( OR ACCOMPLISH WHAT YOU WANT IN LIFE)
I say various times that you must have a burning desire to follow your dream.
To follow your dream 99% of times you need MONEY.
To make money you have to work.
The best way to work is to have your business, set goals and reach them.
This article is about a simple and functional way to make your life easier in the process of goal reaching.
I’m talking about the Intermittent Fasting regimen.
I call it a “regimen” because you simply don’t follow a diet, it’s more a way of eating.
You probably know it or heard about it. There are a lot of types of intermittent fasting.
The type that I like the most is the famous 16-8 but with some changes.
The base is that you eat your dinner on day 1 at 9 pm and don’t eat until day 2 lunch at 1 pm. In the original regimen you can now eat until you eat dinner day 2 at 9 pm. But I found that if I start eating three, four, five meals in these hypothetical 8 hours, I eat TOO MUCH, I feel too tired and my mind is too sluggish to work.
If you only want/have to work in the morning and have the extra willpower to control yourself in the feeding window, the original program can be for you.
I prefer spend my willpower on more important topics.
Eating only two times a day gives me a lot of benefits:
-I can eat close to whatever I want. It’s true that I don’t eat junk food or Frankenstein food ( and you shouldn’t too) but you can’t eat in two meals what you eat in five or six, it’s the simple reality.
-If I go to a restaurant or have good times with friends I don’t have to look calories, I eat until I’m full and satisfied, NOT MORE. I will do an article on this topics because is big.
-After dinner I can sleep well due to hormones released by the big meal. In the afternoon after lunch I nap something like half an hour and after that I’m ready to kick ass. If I train in the evening I make sure to have a lot’s of carbs in the two meals. If I don’t train in the evening I eat less carbs. The point is having your carbs source in the meals before and after training. If you train in the morning for example you have to eat a big dinner the night before and a big lunch after training. This aspect is important because eating only in two feed occasions force yourself to balance the right macronutrients.
– I have A LOT more time to dedicate to my business or my personal goals. I find for example that is close to impossible for me to write important content after eating, I simple don’t have the energy to do.
-Less food preparation = more time
-Less time eating = more time
-More focus, less food craving, less shit thinking about diet..
-Less total food and more hours in a fasted state = less total calories AND more production of benefits hormones like HGH.
-Seems to regulate insulin.
In the morning I drink some coffee light to moderate roast ( more roasted=less beneficial substances like chlorogenic acid).
It seems that this eating regimen is perfect. But It isn’t. Everything has a downside.
In fact there are some negatives aspects:
-If you are a anxious person or you have to deal with a lot of stress in your life, the fasting period can raise your stress hormones too much, in particular cortisol. Too much cortisol all the day and you can say bye bye to your muscle gain. So you must have ball of steel and be totally outcome independence.
-You are going to have hard times if you try to gain weight and muscle. This is not a bulking program for the previous point of stress AND for the fact that you are going to eat less overall food. If you gain some size should be view as a gift.
-You don’t snack at all. For example if you go to a date, you have to drink a cup of coffee or tea and nothing else.
-Sometimes you can feel tired and without energy. 95% of times is a problem of motivation or you are just started the regimen, 5% of times you don’t eat enough.
I’m not a doctor in any way and I speak only with my personal experience.
I think this type of Intermittent fasting in particular is worth the effort because you really can produce more, stay more focus and have more time.
If you want to try the regimen do it after a mass phase and when you really into goals reaching.
It’s not for everyone but it isn’t ineffective for this reason.
Use it as an other weapon in your arsenal to BE A FUCKING MAN.
